The accommodation was very comfortable with all the facilities one would require.It's location is excellent with pan views over the harbour and the sea. Most of all the kindness shown by the owner was outstanding.

Blackrock House is simply the best B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in. Nicola is the most gracious, welcoming, and professional host we have encountered. The house itself was meticulously kept with several places available throughout to sit, watch TV, have a drink, or enjoy time with others. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! I look forward to staying here again.

Our time at Blackrock House was truly wonderful. Nicola's attention to detail, the furnishings, food and general atmosphere make it a true pleasure to visit. Nicola was also amazing at helping us organise a truly memorable experience for the 50th birthday of one of our group.From the restaurant reservations, to the beautiful birthday cupcakes and the extra decorations, she really went the extra mile to help us mark the occasion.Thank you.

We arrived exhausted and a bit fried after a harrowing drive (for us) from the Belfast City airport. Nicola immediately took incredible care of us - even driving us to our dinner reservation as we were almost comatose. From then on her warm caring, many tips for our journey, and cozy B&B made ALL the difference. We felt so cared for in ways I cannot even express. A huge 5 star experience!! Would definitely recommend and return!

From the moment we arrived, Nicola made our anniversary weekend very special, with subtle little touches and gestures; she knows a lot about true hospitality.Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with amazing views of the West Strand. There are also two beautiful lounges for guests, with the one at the rear offering the same amazing views.Breakfast was first class and once again Nicola had added subtle little touches because of the occasion.

Our 2 night stay at Blackrock was fabulous! Nicola spoiled us with delicious & bountiful breakfasts! Our room was lovely with views of the ocean and a very comfortable bed.Nicola gave us great advice on things to do & booked us a reservation at a beautiful restaurant the Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ Anyone staying with Nicola at the Blackrock house will be in for a special treat!!

Quite simply, a wonderful B&B. Everything you would want in terms of comfort and cleanliness and all in a beautiful location. The food was to die for. Possibly - no, definitely - the best breakfast ever. But what took it to the next level was Nicola. Nothing was too much trouble and she was hospitable, generous and informative. A true super-host.

Had a fantastic, fun stay at Blackrock House.Nicola did so many extras for us, from getting us to a T-Shirt shop for our ride home shirts, to making not 1 but 2 different nights dinner arrangements for us.But on top of that her B&B is beautiful, you feel at home and comfortable and her morning breakfast is so tasty!She also made a special treat for us for our Anniversaries.Was a great, fun, beautiful stay!

Another fantastic stay at Blackrock House! Our go to place when staying in the North Coast area. The rooms are spotless and comfy with two beautiful living rooms to relax in one with an amazing view over the beach with the waves rolling in. Would highly recommend!!!

Where do you start? Lovely host, Nicola is such a warm, welcoming and caring lady with tremendous local knowledge.This is not a run of the mill B&B, everything is so well thought out.Breakfast is fresh with the best of local ingredients used. Care and attention to detail is paramount in everything Nicola does and you couldn’t be made more welcome.A must try for anyone visiting the North Coast and I guarantee it won’t be your last visit.

The apartment has a stunning location overlooking Portrush harbour. The view is panoramic of the West Strand and County Donegal in the distance. We witnessed some truly glorious sunsets.The accommodation is right on the doorstep of beach walks and is very convenient to Portrush town centre. It’s also just a four minute walk to the train station. The apartment itself is extremely well maintained and very attractively furnished. The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances including a small dishwasher and washer/dryer.It was very quiet while we there (30 December - 31 January). Although during severe storms of late January there was a lot of wind noise due to the single glazed windows but personally it didn’t bother us much.Nichola is extremely professional and was very attentive to our needs. Any questions or concerns were dealt with right away.We highly recommended this apartment. We would love to stay here again!

Our stay with Nicola was a wonderful introduction to the delights of North Antrim. She continually went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed or stay and made everything easy for us. We travelled by public transport and she facilitated how we navigated around. Her love for her County is evident and she is an excellent and informative ambassador for the best of Northern Ireland.

I had an extremely pleasant stay at Blackrock House. Set in one of the hills overlooking Portrush Harbour, the views out to sea are amazing. The accommodation itself is really luxurious, with very comfortable, airy rooms and really modern, but very comfortable communal living rooms. There is a wide variety of drinks for those who want a tipple.Nicola is a 5* host too, and nothing is too much trouble for her. It's clear that she takes great pride in her venue, and also the service that she provides.I will definitely be back!

The BlackRock House was a perfect B&B. It was nicely decorated, very clean and very welcoming. Nicola is the nicest B&B host we have ever met. She goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have everything they need to make their stay enjoyable. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend a stay here to anyone looking to visit Portrush, The Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges or Bushmills. BlackRock House is conveniently located to all these sights.

When traveling we always book small inns or B&B’s as our preference….always hoping we make a good choice. We certainly did when selecting Blackrock House for a 2-night stay. It was a wonderful time and memorable during our 2 week vacation in Ireland. Nicola couldn’t have been more fun, kind and attentive to our needs, by having dinner reservations already made for weary travelers and even driving us to the pub. My husband happened to mention to Nicola it was our 47th anniversary and when we returned to our room found a lovely card and box of chocolates for the occasion.Many thanks to you Nicola

Our stay at the stunningly restored Blackrock house was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Nicola went above and beyond most B&B hosts. Nicola is a wonderful host. Blackrock House has comfortable rooms, with everything to hand from bottles water to a hot water bottle. A welcome card was waiting for us when we arrived. Out room had a wonderful view of the bay. The house has two comfortable sitting rooms and a balcony and patio that guests can use. Breakfasts are delicious with a range of options to choose from, and fruit, granola and smoothy starter as well. She even prepared a take away breakfast for us so we could do the local parkrun. Nicola gave us many tips for out trips out that made them work really well and suggested places to stop for tea/coffee etc. We really appreciated these.There are plenty of place to eat in Portrush and Nicola suggested several and booked tables for us, which was worth doing as they were all busy.We had a wonderful stay at Blackrock House and wouldn't hesitate recommending it. Nicola has created a special place to stay.

Our first stay at Black rock and hopefully like many others it won’t be our last .Our room was very comfortable with views out into the bay . The area is stunning with easy access to buses and trains , and also Nicola was so kind collecting us from the station and continual offers of transport . Nicola is an amazing host and cook , breakfast is deliciouswith so much choiceof local produceand also additional treatsof cakesdrinks . Nicola went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we neededto ensure wewere able to explore the stunning area and all it has to offer . We came away feeling very spoilt .

The b&b was the best we ever stayed in our life. The host Nicola showed us a lot in the area. She is a angel. The views from the b&b are absolutely gorgeous. It looks like the mediterenean. The breakfast is like the b&b a five star. Absolutely delicious. We have to go back as soon as possible. Absolutely fabulous.

You will not be disappointed with a stay at Nicola's outstanding B&B. Everything about the house was amazing, from the breakfasts to the rooms to the conversations with Nicola. She is a generous host with great recommendations and wonderful stories. There's also an extensive Irish whiskey bar cart for those who want to conduct a comparative tasting in the comfort of a cozy living room.

Amazing stay at Blackrock House, Nicola is an fantastic host. Everything from the welcome to the rooms, the Honour Bar and of course the phenomenal breakfast including Nicola's heavenly homemade Guinness soda bread!!

Returned to Blackrock house for another great weekend break. Nicola is the perfect host and nothing is too much bother to her. Greeted with beautiful homemade cake and coffee and a bottle of Prosecco for our friends reunion. A lovely 15 minute walk along the promenade into the town. Great local bus service to the surrounding area if you want to leave the car behind. Will definitely return.

Blackrock House has a lovely view of the marina and promenade.A very pleasant walk downtown to restaurants and pubs.The amenities are top notch and Nicola is a most gracious host.Our champagne and sweet snack, ordered for arrival, were perfect.We will definitely stay here again.

Nicola was an amazing host! Everything was perfect from start to finish! Everything is thought of with the finest of detail! The views from the ramore room were gorgeous. From the cake and prosecco on arrival to the little Lindt chocolates left for us when we arrived home in the evening, made the stay extra soecial. Recent overnight stay in July exceeded our expectations from this 5 star establishment. The Ramore Bedroom was superb with greatviews.Terrific detail and tasteful furnishings in both the Snug and Drawing Rooms. Breakfast is excellent and not to be missed. Finally the host and owner Nicola provided the customary 5 * Northern Irish Welcome. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely five days with Nicola at Blackrock House. She made us very warmly welcome and pampered us in every way so that we could really enjoy golf (several famous courses nearby), sightseeing and dining out. The House is beautifully done in a cosy beachy style with every little convenience for the husets. We really recommend a stay with Nicola.

Nicola had booked The Mermaid for us for the Friday evening and even posted brochures and maps to us before our arrival... how thoughtful was that?Highly recommend and will be back!

Nicola is top of the top and would do ANYTHING to make your stay comfortable! My husband and I renewed our vows in the “ snug” of the beautifully renovated home! Nicola helped with arranging a bag piper and clergy and even surprised me with a bouquet of flowers, champagne and a cake! By far the best B&B we have ever stayed in!!! Comfort , relaxation and hospitality to the max!!!!!! PS her culinary skills are outstanding! The breakfast is such a wonder and delicious!!!!

Best accommodation ever in this price range. Beautiful rooms,fantastic breakfast beautifully presented. Service is second to none better than any five star hotel. Nicola goes an extra 100 miles above and beyond. You only need to talk about something and next thing she has found it for you. Restaurants booked when they were showing full on their websites. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Nichola. Booked restaurants, gave us a lift, lovely breakfasts and a welcome piece of cake in the afternoon . Even discovered a hot water bottle in our bed after a cold night out!

We both had a wonderful stay at Blackrock House. The food was 5*. The only small criticism i would have, was that the shower room was next to our bedroom and not en suite.

I have just spent a fabulous weekend in Portrush staying at the beautiful Blackrock B&B. I cannot speak more highly of the location, facilities and most notably the hostess! Nicola really does pull out all the stops and has evidently earned her 5* rating. The rooms and entire house are decorated to very high standard and the food was first class! Breakfast on both mornings was out of this world, with options to satisfy all. The turn down service is simply stunning and nothing is too much effort! I will be recommending this B&B and will, no doubt, be returning myself in the very near future. It truly is 5* star accommodation. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

My husband and I stayed at Blackrock House for only one night during our honeymoon. Every detail of our stay was amazing. Nicola, the host and owner, was exceptional! She offered great dinner recommendations as well as a cute bar for drinks and live music after; she even drove us to dinner. The accommodations were very comfortable as well. The decor of the home is warm and welcoming, our bed was very comfortable, and breakfast...wow! One of the best meals on our entire trip!Our only regret is that we didn't stay at Blackrock house longer. Thank you Nicola and Blackrock house for a wonderful stay.
